Saving the Music of the Mountains

The Smokies' Best-Kept Secret

Welcome to Rocky Branch Mountain Music, where musicians, families, neighbors and visitors gather each week to enjoy the sounds of traditional Appalachian music in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Friday Night Jam Sessions

Doors open: 5:30 PM
Kitchen begins serving: 6:00 PM
Music generally begins: 6:30 PM

Jam sessions are held every Friday night. The doors remain open until the last musician leaves, so each evening has its own unique ending.

Music at Rocky Branch may include country, bluegrass, gospel and traditional mountain music. Every week brings a different combination of musicians, songs and visitors.

Acoustic Music and Special Performances

Our regular jam sessions are informal and limited to acoustic instruments. Musicians of all ages and experience levels are welcome to bring an instrument, join a group and share a song.

Rocky Branch also occasionally presents special “plugged-in” performances from the stage in the old gymnasium.

Admission and Support

Admission to Rocky Branch is by donation at the door. These donations help us pay our monthly expenses, maintain the facility and keep this special gathering place open for musicians and visitors.

Rocky Branch Community Club, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are always welcome and help us continue preserving Appalachian music and community traditions for future generations.
